Kim, Chandler, Katherine and Jennifer,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. Mike's passing leaves a void in all our lives. Mike and I were not "bestfriends" but he was certainly the best friend I've ever had. Time spent with Mike was like reading a good book, when you were finished you always wanted another chapter. Just a little something more.
I'll cherish the trips I flew with Mike and the days we shot together. Mike was a gentleman and I was always proud to call him my friend. He will always be remembered and will always be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Chandler and your entire family.

Always remember the Ambrester family at Morningside Elementary. Enjoyed kmowing Mike and remembered him breaking his leg on Morningside playground and having to go to the hospital. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Tom Jenkins
So sad to hear of Mike's passing. I remember him hanging around my Dad's maintenance shop when I was a much younger man, and I enjoyed working for him in later years. Will greatly miss his smiling face. Prayers for his family.
From a DAD to a DAD I thought that you are one of the greatest. Your love and pride of your girls always was always evident. I really enjoyed sitting with you as we watch Chandler play volleyball, and you yelling to her, "Hammer Time!" as she slammed the ball for a obvious point. May God be with you and bless you throughout eternity, and may he Bless and Comfort Kim and the girls during this unexpected time.
Mike I loved all the years we flew together. How you made me laugh with your stories, never a dull moment. I learned many things from you and have great memories. Listening to you share the girls achievements, you were so proud of them. You always said you couldn't do it without Kim. Knowing you are holding court and making everyone laugh up above makes me smile. Blue Sky and Tailwinds--I miss you my friend.
May God Bless you and the girls Kim,
You only had meet Mike and you had a friend. He was full of life and loved to spin a good story. He will be missed and thought of often.
May God comfort you at this time.
I pray that God will give you peace and comfort in this difficult time.
I have known Mike for many years and never saw him without a smile. He was such a joy to be with.
I feel honored to call him my friend.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
Mike loved to fly, a good ride through the Georgia Mountains, reading a good book, and having cocktail with friends..but his biggest love was his family and his girls. I'll miss our phone calls. Rest in Peace my friend

Mike, you have been in my every prayer since your accident.now you are free, and know heaven will be even a better place with you there. God bless you and your family now..lange
Mike was a true friend in every sense of the word, a devoted father and husband, and a Christian who truly went around doing good for others as a lifestyle. It has been really sweet to think of the many ways Mike impacted our lives and we are hearing stories of the many ways that he reached out to others. Though our hearts are bruised with his passing on to heaven, we will live our lives ever influenced by his.
We love you, Mike.....we love you, family...Robert and Berta
I'm so sorry for your loss. May God comfort you and your family during this time.

To Mike's family he was so proud of, my sincere sympathy. From Afghanistan,
Beginning in the late 1970s, Mike and I shared more than a few experiences as paired crew-members in corporate aircraft. He was there for me when I needed a part-time flying job during 1997-1998. We not only shared a love of flying but also enjoyed the open roads on our motorcycle. I will say a prayer for those family members he left behind and I look forward to seeing him again in the life hereafter.
Mike was such a giver of his time, love and wisdom. He will be truly missed by the aviation community. Our prayers are with you and family.
Flying higher than ever now, Mike! Holding those left behind in my thoughts and prayers. He will be missed.
I consider it an honor to have known Mike. He was always a great person to have around and the Civil Air Patrol Squadron GA153 was better for him having been a part of it. He will be missed but God has welcomed him into His kingdom and will be with those he leaves behind. I will miss him but am very glad I knew him.
Rest in Peace. We will miss your laugh and humor. Our prays to your wife and children so that their pain is comforted.
With love and heart-felt sympathy for you during this time of loss. Our prayers are with you, and our trust is with the Lord that Mike is flying high in heaven today.
