What a lost you will be to the aquarium. I thank God that He allowed us to see one of His wonderful creations!
Ralph, rest well now that you are free.
We are deeply saddened by yet another death in our aquarium. Both Gasper & Ralph were mine and my daughter's favorite exhibit especially with what we called "Ralph's pilot fish" and him just follwing right behind them. He will truly be missed.
Ralph, you were great to watch, you will be truly missed. The aquarium will not be the same without you!
My condolences for the loss and my admiration for your efforts;
Deepest sympathy to all who cared for this magnificent creature. Ralph, you will be missed.
To all at the aquarium
Thank you for all the care you gave Ralph. I am sorry this was so sudden and a shock. It amazes me how much you love your work, so I know this hurts and confuses you. We all appreciate you!
To the Aquarium Staff:
We were sadden by the loss of another family member. Ralph and the rest of the whale shark family are my sons favorites. This past summer my mother was visiting from Michigan and spent an hour sitting with my son in front of the big window and just watched these beautiful creatures swim so gracefully. May he and Gasper swim in the great oceans of heaven.
I AM SORRY ABOUT THE DEATH OF RALPH,MY PRAYERS WILL CONTINUE
WE ARE SO SORRY ABOUT THE DEATH OF RALPH,MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.

What a magnificent and majestic creature! I was in such awe as I visited the aquarium last year for the first time and saw Ralph. He will be missed.
Our family is so sad over the loss of Ralph. Our thoughts and prayers are with the staff. We are sure you are very saddened by this since you are still trying to get past the loss of Gasper.
Now when all of you swim in the tanks, you will know that Ralph is swimming next to you as your guardian angel. May God Bless you all.
YOU WILL BE MISSED I USED TO LOVE TO WATCH YOU WHEN I WAS WORKING THERE FOR KODAK
I can't belive that another aninal has died at the Atlanta Aquarium. I was there not too long ago. And I saw that Whale Shark. I hope that Ralph died of old age and not something else. I know that the people who works at the Aquarium are very sad. Because I know that if you work with any animal you can get very attached to it.
Blessed rest, dear Ralph.
My husband and I were fortunate in that we saw Ralph in April when we visited the Aquarium. He was a very handsome animal. Our sympathies to all those who worked with him.
NOW MY NANA AND PAPA HAVE ANOTHER FRIEND IN HEAVEN. PLEASE TELL THEM I MISS THEM AND GIVE THEM A KISS. ALSO SAY HELLO TO GASPER FOR ME.
Goodbye to yet another great attraction of the acquarium. You also will be missed by all. Now you can swim as a star in the sky with your pal Gasper.
To the staff of the GA aquarium:
I was shocked and saddened by the news about both Gasper and Ralph. I have visited the aquarium several times and it is the most beautiful aquarium I have ever seen. Ralph was an amazing animal. Gasper was full of personality and playfulness. Bless all of you for your efforts to educate the world about these marvelous creatures of the deep. I hope you can determine what happened to Ralph so that we can learn how to protect the three remaining whale sharks and keep them healthy in their beautiful home. Hang in there.
You gave us the greatest amount of leasure watching you swim. Sleeep in peace. Your friends.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Ralph.
It is so sad to loose a creature so beautiful and graceful.
My sympathy to the Georgia Aquarium Staff I'm sure you did all you could to save him.
I visited 5 times in 2006. My students loved seeing Ralph in March 2006.
View my web site, page # 5 that includes photos of Ralph. Four Gasper photos are not on the web--will add them in a few days.
When we came to visit you at the aquarium it was so relaxing and peaceful to just watch you swim. You are missed and I am so sorry you are gone. :(
Amazing Ralph! I enjoyed watching you soar along with your tank mates every time I've visited you (about 7 times!). Your grace and size were so awesome. I am so sad and shocked by our loss of such a great animal. I pray that you and Gasper will keep each other company. Rest in peace.
To The Staff at the Aquarium:
My deepest sympathy goes out to each and everyone of you who cares so deeply for the all the fish, sharks, whales etc everyday. Such another sad loss to have to experience so close to loosing Gasper.
Please know that all Atlantans know that you did your best to try and save both Ralph and Gasper.
What a magnificent creature Ralph was and he too will be missed.
I'll miss you, you were one of my favorites. Know that you were loved by many. I know that you got the very best care possible.

As I looked through the window,
Waiting for a glimps.
Your friends will be sad,
They probably miss you now,
They knew you for long.
My family will miss you Ralph, but we are blessed that we had the opportunity to meet and visit with you.
Ralph, I am so sorry to hear that you are gone. What a wonderful specimen of God's creatures. You and Gasper can now swim together in God's great ocean. We will miss you very much. God bless.
We came to the aquarium several times and enjoyed watching Ralph and the other whale sharks swimming about. You and Gasper will be missed!
My sympathies to the staff of the aquarium, as I am sure that these creatures became family.
My nephew loved to watch you swim! We loved your awesome presence, you will be greatly missed!
I loved you Ralph and I will miss you. It was fun seeing you swim around your tank and laughing with the other fish. You will truly be missed.
I was very sad that I did not get a chance to see you Ralph but my grandsons did and I could not tell them about your death because they are already upset about the death of the whale. You will be missed.
You calmed my heart with your peaceful presence. Rest well.
I had the thrill of visiting Ralph twice, watching him and Norton swim so gracefully in their tank, and was shocked and saddened to hear of his death. We will miss this beautiful creature. My heart goes out to the Aquarium staff for this second loss in such a short time.
You will be missed Ralph. I got to see you 2 times last month and loved to watch the small fish swim with you. You are in my thoughts and prayers as well as the whole staff.
I am deeply sorry for the loss of such an amazing creature at this great institution. Please accept my prayers and well wishes to the staff and to all who love and respect the impact animals have on our lives.
You gave my kids a smile every time they saw you. Thank you! We will miss you.
I feel deeply saddened that I will no longer be able to see you. I am privileged and blessed to have been able to set my eyes upon such a magnificant animal and you were a beautiful sight to behold.Thank you.

One of God's greatest and wondrous creatures. We will miss you and we pray for your loving caretakers to find out why you had to leave us so soon. Love to all.
We will miss you Ralph. We come to visit often and sit for hours and watch you and your family swim in your wonderful home at the Georgia Aquarium. Hello to Gasper who was also a treasure to us.

I had just been to the aquarium last week for the first time to see you, Ralph. Everyone knows you're in a better place but you'll be missed greatly.
We are mourning your passing and wish you happy trails. What an incredible fish you were -- we are so glad we had a chance to share our time and knowledge about you to others as volunteers at the Aquarium. We will miss you greatly and am truly saddened with the loss.
I was greatly saddened to hear the news about Ralph. He will always hold a special place in my heart. You will be missed.
estoy muy triste por la muerte de una segunda ballena en el aqurio pero se que el equipo hiso lo mejor en el cuidado.
Goodbye friend, You'll always be in my thoughts. You brought tremendous joy to everyones lives.
Ralph. I will truly miss you. I remember when we first met and you swam by me - our eyes met - and it was like we had known each other our entire lives. You were like a brother to me. I would come down to the aquarium at 10am every Saturday morning and watch you swim around, and around, and around, and around, and around. It was like watching a NASCAR race and you were Jimmy Johnson leading and winning. Norton was like Tony Stewart - a little chubby and fiery and challenging you for the lead but never over taking you. I will miss you Ralph.
Ralph - you were a gentle giant who swam with grace and pride. My favorite part of my visits to the aquarium is sitting on the floor and gazing into your home. You and your family gave us all such calming experiences.
I must tell you about one visit in particular - we took a deaf couple to the aquarium - and they asked the most amazing question: Do you hear the fish swim? It was then that I realized that there are very few times in life when the deaf and hearing experience exactly the same thing - and that is when looking at fish swimming in an aquarium - we both experience calmness and soothing. Isn't that just wonderful?
I will certainly miss seeing you.
Ralph, my family and I never got the chance to visit with you before you left us, but we know that you are in Whale Heaven and we will miss you.
have fun in the ocean of heaven. i will miss you!
Ralph, you gave my one-year-old son such joy on the two occasions we visited you. He screamed and shook with delight every time you swam by. Now you and Gaspar are swimming under the Rainbow Bridge together. You will surely be missed.
We will certainly miss you Ralph. The Aquarium and those of us that are members have lost a family member.
You will be greatly missed by so many people. Patrica Cobb
You will be missed - such a gentle fish for being so big. We just started to learn about you. Condolences to all who worked with you.
My daughter went to see him 4 times last year. He will be missed.
am shocked to hear about this great loss, especially so soon after the
loss of Gasper. I was just there at the Ocean's Ball and spent much of
my time watching you and the others swimming so gracefully, how peaceful it was. You will be missed!
You were so calm and peaceful to watch, and many loved you! I will miss you! Swim free with Gasper!
God bless Ralph. I know he is now swimming in heaven.
While working down at the Aquarium it was nice seeing you and Norton each day. You will be missed.
Whenever I visit the aquarium, I spend the majority of my time watching the whale sharks - they emanate a sense of peacefulness. I will miss seeing Ralph swim by me. My heart felt condolences to Alice, Norton, Trixie and the staff who worked closely with him.
Oh NO! Another one of our favorites. So, sad! We will miss you Ralph. To be so big and to be so nice at the same time. Say "Hello" to Gaspar for us.
IT'S SO HARD TO BELEIVE THAT ANOTHER ONE OF GODS CREATURES FROM THE AQUARIUM IS GONE,BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT RALPH IS SWIMING WITH GASPER THIS VERY MOMENT IN WHALE HEAVEN! THE TWO WILL BE TRULY MISSED
So sorry for the loss the Family will endure.
You will be greatly missed. Michael Delgadillo, Dulce & Felix Hernandez.
Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
I never got a chance to see you face to face, but i enjoyed watching you on tv. I promise to go see the rest of your family one day.
We will miss you!, I bet the little fish that swam at your mouth are lost without you!
Goodbye to a wonderful gentle giant. You provided so much joy and so many smiles to so many people. Providing just one smile is such a priceless gift.
We miss you Ralph.
You will surely be missed. Thanks for being here with us the short time that you were. We all know you had the best care possible. Say "hello" to Gasper for us.
I can't believe I'm getting teary-eyed. It was hard to associate as much of a personality with Ralph as we saw with Gasper, but still, it's heart-breaking.
I worry how Alice, Trixie and Norton will be. (Just like I worry about Nico, Marina, Maris, and Natasha).
I know Ga Aquarium staff give 110% in caring for the animals. Let's hope they are able to determine ASAP what the cause of his death was so that it will not be in vain.
Please accept my deepest sympathies.
We saw you on Christmas Eve and will treasure the pictures we have of you. We loved watching you swim in Oceans Voyager and will miss you greatly. Our hearts are again saddened and our condolences go out to the aquarium staff for having lost another member of their "family".

WE WILL MISS YOU.
i am sorry for ralph. i will miss him
I am saddened that you are no longer with us - you were such a joy to see and watch - where ever you are - please be with you
I had the pleasure of watching Ralph gracefully swim about his aquarium home on Tuesday. He will be greatly missed.
So long, Ralph. We hardly knew you.
Completely shocked to hear you are gone! Gone too soon. We'll miss seeing you swimming around happily at Ocean Voyager. You'll be missed. God bless to Ralph and the staff of the GA Aquarium.
My heart goes out to both aninamls, it's such a shame. They were such beautiful creatures. May they (Gapser & Ralph) rest in peace. Good Luck in the near future to the staff.
My condolences go out to all of the dedicated workers at the GA Aquarium and the citizens of Atlanta. Ralph will be greatly missed. I am sure the many fish in the Ocean Explorer tank are also quite sad. I hope the three remaining Whale sharks can get to work and have some healthy whaleshark children to fill the void left in our hearts by Ralph (not to mention Gasper).
My thoughts out to the veterinary staff at the aquarium. This has been a tough year.
Now you and gasper will be playing together in heaven with all the other animals. You both will be missed greatly. loves & hugs
Ralph gave us all the gift of believing that we must do all that is humanly possible to protect our oceans and all of the creatures that depend on their good health...including humanbeings.
Such another sad loss for the Georgia Aquarium. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who worked with Ralph.
Ralph, you are in the glory ocean too. Say hi to Gaspar, Jazz, Elvis and Ugg boots.
Thanks for the memories and say hello to Gasper. He's waiting for you to come and swim.
My deepest sympathy's and prayers go out to the staff at the aquarium. Thanks for all you do.
Please accept my deepest sympathies.
Ralph was a beautiful creature and my first experience of whale sharks. Unfortunately, nature decided it was Ralph's time to go despite the veterinary and husbandry teams' best efforts to save him. God bless them for having to deal with two uncontrollable tragedies in such a short period of time. We will all miss you Ralph!
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
Seeing Ralph for the first time was an amazing experiance. Thanks for the memories. We'll miss you, big guy.
Ralph, was a gentle giant. He will be missed.
We are saddened by this shocking news.
This is truly sad news. It was so cool to see the fish swimming right in front of Ralph as he passed by. The aquarium certainly has a huge void to fill now. My condolences go out to the workers who worked with him everyday and in his final moments.
