Sam was a beacon of light in our travel of life. He smiled and laughed with sincerity. He loved his daughters with the glow that all Dads should have,,,so proud of them, he was. The love of his life, Diane, inspired him to endure, to continue, to be Sam,,,,and he did. I remember as a young student,,,having to read a book I did not enjoy,,,"Death be not Proud",,,such is the case with Sam,,,and Diane....Two souls taken way before their time,,,for Friends,,and most of all Family...."Death,,,Be Not Proud".....Your Friends,,,,,Darrell and Tina Partain.....

Sam was my shop Teacher at Forest Park Sr High and he showed me all the tricks of how to build things, he was fun to work with.I then went into law enforcement and sam all ways called me" Barney " and be sure to keep my bullet dry in my pocket, Sam you will be missed and I always had a good laugh with you when I saw you in town ( McDonough), RIP my good friend.

We extend our condolences to the family of Mr. Samuel Grogan. He touched the lives of many in the education field and will be missed. We look forward to the time when sickness and death will be a thing of the past. Until then may the family draw strength from the God of all comfort (Psalms 83:18).
