After all these years I will never forget. I miss the old days and miss having you around. Even though we have all grown up (some older) I'd give anything to go back 10+ years and have night of gaming like we use to. Miss you buddy {PR}Sarge

Dear DAT,

You were a great friend to me, when I first joined JDRS and I have played with ya in the beginning. You have introduced me to many great people that I was very shy to meet at first, and I thank you. You are greatly missed, and I will miss playing with you too. So much fun we had playing in Clan battles and just for kicks. I thank you for being my friend.

Mark Hall, I hardly knew you, but I respected you as a player, a leader, and a person. I wish the best to the Hall family. You had a good man in your family, and I want you to know that he touched many people, all for the better. Mark, you had the wisdom of many years beyond your age. I wish you safe journies in whatever world you're in. I wish the Hall family the bestthrough your trials. Life will go on, and it will flourish again.

Dat will always be Dat to me. I know that he would like us to continue on without him. On the poker table we will leave a seat open for him. As part of his online family, we will miss his leadership and wit. Rest in peace.

{PR} DAT

He was the kind of person that would help u no matter what it was if he did not know it he would find it then teach you about it. He was not only a clan leader but a firend and in some cases a father. I just want to say that he was proble one of the best persons to ever come to halo and now that was have lost to vary dear friends and this hits us all hard to hear about some one so dear and near to all of us it just sadens me to hear about another person who has died not only in On Line gameing but in the world. To tell u the truth he was like my unkel.

Mark (DAT) u will be missed greatly and i show my sadness to the Hall Family. Mark was always there for others and was a great man. When i first started to play halo (about 2 years ago) Mark made a clan on halo called DDS, then it was called SR, he and Metal then made their own clan, PR. But during those 2 years i have known DAT, he was always there for me and my bro. Mark will never be forgotten in any kind of way.

Mark was a great friend. He was always there for you no matter what. He would stand up for you when you were right, and make fun of you when you were wrong. I knew Mark for jst under a year. In that short amount of time, we had some laughs, and some arguments. I will always remember Mark till the day I die. He was a great friend, and a natural born leader. I miss you Mark.

DAT,

The more I think about everything, the more I miss you. I am mad that we never got to actually hang out like we had discussed. You and I would talk everyday on TS or yahoo and I am really going to miss that. A sad feeling of disbelief is all I have been able to feel since I heard the news. You seriously were one of the nicest guys I knew. Always there for anyone, even if they were bothersome or downright annoying. METAL and I both are thankful to have gotten to be such good friends with you, as are all of the people in the Halo Community that you ever spoke to. If you cannot read the forum anymore, please listen to the prayers and whatever is read at ur funeral. Everyone was touched by you.

I am a big believer in God and I truly feel that you were one of the good guys in this world and God must have seen that. I truly believe he took you from this world because he has bigger and better things ahead for you. Whatever He has in mind for you, MARK, you can do it.

I'll see you one day, my only hope is that I have gotten good enough at Halo by then to give you a challenge. Also, I hope there is pokerstars in heaven too, because you still owe me 1,000 play chips!

Thanks for everything my friend, you are sorely missed.

As I stated elsewhere it is truly amazing at how many lives Mark positively impacted. There are over 500 registered members on our forums and Mark touched each of them in some way. I hope the Hall family isn't jealous or upset with us for the countless hours that we stole of their time with him. I can remember many times over the past year and a half when I would easily spend 4-5 hours each evening playing games and talking on teamspeak with Mark.

I have never heard a harsh or unkind word about Mark or from Mark about another. He was truly a gentle soul and a person I would like to be more like. Mark's passion was to create a place where we could all come together as a family. A safe place and a fun place to steal away from work, school, or other pressures that would weigh upon each of us. Mark took a personal interest in each and every member of {PR}. Whether it was the youngster who was dealing with a bad home life, the young lady in an abusive relationship, the close friend dying of cancer, or me just needing a friend to talk to, Mark was always around.

I know he has faced chronic health conditions for some time now. He would disappear for a few days from time to time but always came back after he recovered. I know we expected the same this time.

Mark not only created this place for the {PR} family. There are countless stories of Mark setting up servers, websites, teamspeaks for other clans and groups. Mark wasn't selfish. He gave freely of his time and talents to help whoever was in need. We are all dimished a bit by Mark's unexpected passing. However I think the joy, laughter, friendship, and time that Mak gave will be remembered and honored for a long time.

I will never forget you Mark and can never repay you for all that you have done for me and the countless others who you touched.

Rest easy my dear friend.......you will be greatly missed.

Hello Mark's Family and Friends,

Im am Val, and i would like to express a few words on what Mark meant to me. I known mark for a couple years, and seen first hand the love and compassion he put into his clan, at first it was DDS, then SR, and finally PR which stands firm today. He has always shown concern and dedication to all the things he does. He inspired me many times to do things beyond my normal thinking. He was a great leader, a great person. I believe we all are at a lost. For i can say there are many today in this halo community who can say that Dat touched their lives, i know he touch mine. Even though he is no longer with us, he will forever reside in my heart. I am trully sorry for your lost, for i know it is a difficult time for you, but believe me, that Mark had made an IMPACT in the lives of many. And we are all thankful that for the short time he was here, he always been real, been true to his vision and his purpose.

As Val, of the Soldiers of Triumph Family i send you my deepest condolences during this difficult time, but personally, i dont believe that mark is gone. Even though his physical body may not be here, i believe he lives within each one of us, in some way.

Good bye my old friend........

Sincerely,

a.k.a. «§T» =VAL=

To the HALL Family. My condolences. Mark took me under his wing a little more than two years ago. He not only showed me the world of HALO, but showed my the online world and all that you could do via internet. He was like a brother to me. I cannot count the hours he and I spent online together. When he wouldn't come on for a few days, I would give him a hard time. I also expressed to him that I knew he would always be there for me via internet. I cannot image what I am gonna do now if I ever need him. Mark was a person that every HALO clan knew. He wasnt one to argue. He would explain everything in great detail, so that yoou would understand. DAT....with your passing.....I am giving up gaming! I have thought about this...without you...its never gonna be the same. KID and I will always remember the good times. I send my love to the HALL's ....and to you DAT!
