Family-Placed Death Notice

ARRINGTON, Brenda MS. BRENDA J. ARRINGTON Memorial Services for Ms. Brenda J. Arrington will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 1 PM at Friendship Baptist Church, 437 Mitchell St, SW. Rev. Emmanuel McCall, Sr. Interim Pastor, officiating. Brenda Joyce Arrington was a brilliant psychologist, passionate educator, and dedicated West End Community Activist. Her legacy will live on through her beloved family, friends, god children, mentees and a host of other people whose lives were touched by her gracious spirit. Survivors include her brother Donald Bruce Arrington, sister in law Jeanette K. Arrington, and niece Brittany D. Arrington of Willingboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Young Adult Guidance Center located at 1230 Hightower Road, N.W., Atlanta, GA 30318. I remember how u would pull up in front my house, and remind me I purchased in the HISTORIC West End, and how you were proud I was so young and what I need to do to keep my house "to par" and how I need to be on the Tour of Homes (sounding like my late great grandmother Ida Epps). I was so deeply saddened to hear about Breanda. I have such fond memories growing up in Trenton,N.J. next door to the Arrington family. We re-connected years later and it was always so delightful seeing Brenda on my visits to Atlanta. Brenda was gifted and focused.
