I read of Adam's death while in Johannesburg, S. Africa and quite by accident. I remember him as an intelligent and intense young man who overcame great obstacles with the help of his loving family. I send my most sincere condolences to Laura and Janet as well as my very best regards. If this message reaches you, please contact me as I don't know how to reach you. Mort would have been saddened by Adam's death very much as well, I know.

My condolences to the family members of Adam Shapiro. Although I did not know Adam. I work with his sister Laura Shapiro, who is an exceptional, caring, great human-being and a very hard worker. Reading the articles about Adam is an inspiration to know how passionate he was in the work he did. May he R.I.P.
