The grief experience by families and friends in connection with death does bring tears, so we would like to extend our sympathy and condolences.

It was indeed a pleasure and privilege knowing your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I was awed by her vitality and honoured when she prepared an entire meal for our family when she was well into her late eighties.

These word have always seemed uplifting and I hope they give you a margin of condolence in your time of loss.

To Mrs. Joyce Bobo, my wonderful son-in-law Mr. Christopher Bobo, my precious daughter, Michele Anderson-Bobo and my dearest granddaughters, Ashley and Amanda Bobo indeed we all share in the loss of a magnificent and dynamic woman-- your mother, grandmother and great grandmother,Mrs Ann Nixon Cooper.

Mrs Cooper was born at the dawn of the 20th century, tested by inequality, nurtured by love and blessed by longevity. Her works, actions and sentiments have been an example and inspiration to newly elected president--Mr Barak Obama,ambassadors,mayors and the common folks of the United States and aboard. Her wit, her charm,and humour will be sorely missed. The world has lost one of it's most magnificent and dignified treasures.

Words cannot express the magnitude in which your life meant to each of us. I pray each day that I be half the person that you were!! I thank God that you were able to vote in the 2008 Presidential election, to help put our first black president in office. I am looking forward to seeing you again at those pearly gates and streets of gold. May God bless the family. Demetrius Jones.

We felt as if we knew you when we saw you during the voting news flash about your taking the time at your age to actually go to the polls and vote. we know that you will be welcomed in the heavenly family of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.
