It was "our brush with greatness" when my husband and I and our two daughters sat behind Marvin and his wife at a broadway show in NYC. They were so gracious, friendly and down to earth. We have bragged to family and friends about him and his lovely wife for years. We have followed his career and know his talents will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family during this difficult time. He was a wonderful man.

We have lost Marvin - the greatest contemporary oomposer, pianist, conductor and entertainer - now he is conducting the angels in "one singular sensation". His humor is often overlooked - I have a wonderful memory of him with Merv Griffin on his show playing the piano and trying to outdo each other. Marvin ended up playing while sitting on the floor! What a talent we have lost and Heaven has gained. Thank you for all the great moments and the way we all were hearing your music.
