Hi...I am a cousin of Passie's and remember her fondly from family reunions. My mother was Nell Tidwell Rollins and lived in Greenville. Her family were Herndons. My husband and I both worked at the Crime Lab and Pat was always so nice. I still enjoy a wedding gift glass platter that she gave us as one of my favorite presents.
We are so sorry for your loss. Pat was the administrator at the lab when we both started our careers and helped keep the place running when the Docs were traveling around doing autopsies. It was a different era then and she was a true pioneer as a female forensic scientist.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your loved one. Ms. Jones was at the GBI when I went to work there 36 years ago. She was a very smart woman. I know you will miss her.
