I did not know Mr. Farris personally, but I read "Daddy King's" autobiography. He stated that he knew of no one who could have been a better son-in-law than Isaac. This tells me that he was a great Christian and a wonderful man.

What a shock searching the internet for Farris Color Vision! I am so sorry to hear of the family loss. I knew him as a kind and gentle person. I did business with him with the King tee- shirts and reunions shirts. I advice him on vending at the PX. Years ago! We kept in touch until we lost in touch. Last year he sought me out through a old number on file that belong to my mother. I returned his call we laughed and recalled his time over the gift shop. We vowed to check on each other. What a good and gentle gentlemen. May he Rest In Peace! So sorry! May God be with the family.

Cousin Issac will certainly be missed. Many thanks to cousin Issac for his many contributions to the world we live in. I always enjoyed the conversations we would have. His life has blessed untold numbers. He has now been called home to be with the Almighty where there is no pain or suffering but peace and joy without end. Yet he will be with us always in our hearts. Cousin.

Dear family,
Faith is the bridge we cross from sorrow to peace. Deacon Farris lived that faith and his good works will prevail in the lives of the many he touched. With a refreshing self-effacing countenance and easy sense of humor Deacon Farris made scores of friends. I was blessed to have been one of them.
Keep the faith.
With love and prayers,
Lydia Walker

The man of wisdom, kindness, faith, and strength the City of Atlanta was blessed with many years ago was just Uncle Issac to me. A smile with an extended hand, and encouraging words. He was a shining example of what all the Farris men where from his father Cornelius Sr. brother Cornelius Jr., and brother George Farris. When my Father George Farris passed Uncle Issac called and with no mention of the severity of his own health he provided words of comfort ending with "when things get tough Farris Men get going. " Thank you Lord for the gift of Uncle Issac. Michael Farris.

I will miss Deacon Isaac Newton Farris, Sr. He was supportive in so many ways to me and my husband, Deacon Bryan K. Lindsey, at Ebenezer Baptist Church. I am grateful for my last brief conversation and fellowship with him in Horizon sanctuary after church. When he spoke, Deacon Farris gave great wisdom. Even during his twilight years and the persaonsl care, he spoke with a steadiness and strong faith. He never complained. To his wife, Dr. Christine King Farris, I am praying for your strength and trust God to sustain you THROUGH IT ALL. To Issac, Angela, Farris and the King Family, you are all in my heartfelt prayers. God provides even in our darkest hours.
