Mr. Eley will be missed. He was a great man. A gentleman that I had the pleasure of meeting during his theatre excursions to the Magic Johnson Theatre. Throughout the years he was a positive role model for me. He was generous, sharing his autobiography with me and my father. He holds a special place in my heart and will truly be missed.

I want to send my condolences to the family of Mr. Eley. He was a kind and loving guy. I met him several years ago at Rite Aid Pharmacy, where I work. He bought me a book about the human body, that is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I'm proud to have known Mr. Eley.

The Tuskegee Airmen meant so much to me in World War II as they flew escort in protection of our B-24 Bombers on missions of the 15th Air Force. I was Radio Operator on one which crash landed on Tuskegee Airmen's base in Italy when we were returning ofrom a combat mission having been hit by flak. God rest Col. Eley's soul! Burt Vardeman

Dear Eley Family, I was honored to volunteer my time, talent and love for this awesome human. Mr. Eley was a brave, wise, intelligent, proud and most important kind man. I loved listening to the true stories in which he pioneered during and after his Military career. He will be missed. He loved his family so very dearly and wanted the best for his children and grand. May God continue to show favor to the Eley Family. God Bless.
