Mary was always encouraging of Gerontology students and aided in our transition into successful professionals in the field of aging. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to her family & friends.

She was the kindest woman. She always had an encouraging word and said "you can do this" even when you believed you would never graduate from GSU! My prayers and love to her family. She will be missed.

My memories of Mary are many and varied. She was wonderfully supportive during my studies at the Gerontology Institute, always connecting me to the appropriate groups and encouraging my studies. We became friends after I graduated and enjoyed our fun times together. I will always remember her dedication to the students, her laughter and kindness. She will be missed.
