May God keep you, Mr.Bob and Wendi in His loving care always! Sylvan Hills graduate "72". Anika"s mom.

I knew Norma when her life was hopefully better, in good health, when we were graduating in College Park, with long white dresses, red roses, boys in tuxedos. She was a lovely young lady, and apparently well loved later. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Bob and Wendi
Indeed sorry to read that Norma has left this earthly home for heaven and that is no doubt where she is.
A great person, friend and educator. She touched many lives and all are better for knowing her. I remember working down the hall from her at Sylvan, our going out to lunch which lasted for hours and our talks on the phone. Unfortunately, have not spoken with her for awhile now but remember her with great fondness.
She was a class act and will be missed.
May the Lord wrap each of you in His comforting arms.

Take care and be blessed

A beloved Sylvan nation sends condolences to Bob & Wendi. Through her trying years, many prayers and communications have been sent to Mrs. McLendon. She was a "keeper of the keys" for the former Sylvan faculty and knew where many of them were. She never betrayed a confidence by revealing their whereabouts but was always willing to contact them and ask their permission to be "found". She has shown amazing strength throughout her battle.

To Mr. Bob and Wendi,

Please accept my deepest sympathy. My heart and prayers are with you guys at this difficult time. I am so THANKFUL that I had a chance to meet Mrs. Norma, she was such a JOY!! In that short time of knowing her, she truly touched my heart. I still remember her telling me "I Care For You" and "I Love You Too"...Mr. Bob & Wendi, thanks again for allowing me to care for your love one. It was a pleasure meeting you both!! Love,
