Jack was my oldest brother, friend, pal and confidant. We talked almost daily, and spent many holidays together. I could talk to him about anything and his advice was always "spot on." He was also supportive...he was an ordained deacon at our church whenever I wanted to introduce a new program, etc,. he would tell me what he thought about it. He didn't "go along to get along." He didn't mind challenging me when he really believed something. He always had the church's best interest (and mine) at heart. Words cannot express how much I love him and how much I miss him. I thank God for the gift of time and memories with my brother.

To the family of Oscar Lee Dunn:
"Jack"s" life and legacy are one of strength and quiet resolve. May his acceptance of Jesus Christ as His LORD and Savior bring you comfort that he is with the FATHER smiling. Though not often a man of many words, he loved his daughters, former wife, sisters, brother, grandchildren and other family and friends in his own way. Jack was like a big brother to me and a special friend. He could be gruff or grumpy on the outside but if you pushed past his veneer; he had a giving heart. He referred to himself as an Afro-Engineer and was my go-to person for advice when I needed something fixed at home or with my car. We all know that he missed his son, but has now seen him and perhaps has a better understanding of God's sovereignty and purpose. Jack is missed and like you; I am honored to have benefited from his wisdom, his smile and laughter, hugs, work ethics and his overall character. Please know that your father, brother and friend had the heart of a true servant and was always a gentleman.
