As a ranger in the "field", I had the pleasure of being in meetings with Paul through the years. Paul asked questions. Paul asked for clarification. May we all continue to ponder, question and strive for understanding like Paul. You will be missed. Thank you for being support to all of us in the field over the years. You impacted many of us. Thank you to Paul's family for sharing him with us. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.

Paul attended our Friends of Chatt Hills Parks group early on and helped guide us with his wisdom over the years. We admired him for his passion for parks and for our community, for his ability to see the big picture as well as the fine details, and for his good humor which encouraged us along the way. His many Friends in Chattahoochee Hills will miss him, and we send our condolences to his family.

Find strength in the happy times that you all had with Paul. Paul is offering you all a strengthening, positive, spirit that can be with you during these very trying times. We are with you in your grieving and our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the days to come. We are so very sorry for your loss.

Paul hired me to fill the position he vacated to become Assistant Director. I will always appreciate the opportunity. His were BIG shoes to fill both in the Division and throughout the tourism industry in the state. He knew everyone! Paul inspried me with his work ethic and he never failed to be supportive, encouraging, and complimentary. I will miss his insight and guidance, his friendship, and his hearty laugh.
