Fifty years seems so wrinkled and timeworn for a coupla' playful junior high school kids, turned reluctant grown-ups. Yet, for Paula, nothing changed. Same perky, American Bandstand hairstyle ... same effervescent Pepsodent smile ... same playful disposition and happy-go-lucky lust for life. I'm so pleased that she made the most of hers. And awed by the gladiator within.
Gone too soon. But not before making life a celebration and leaving a lasting impression in the sands of time. By any measure, hers was a life exceptionally well lived.
I miss her already. So do the kids of the class of 1968, Miami Beach Senior High.
Ed and Scott, thanks for taking such exquisite care of our friend. And for keeping us in the loop. Now, we'll keep you in our prayers. And Paula in our hearts.
