To the family and friends of Timothy Stack; " Draw close to God and and he will draw close to you." James 4:8
GA
August 5, 2012
I never had the pleasure of meeting Tim but he must have been a wonderful person.
I too graduated from Bethany College though I am older than Tim.
I extend my deepest sympathy on the passing of a fellow Bethanian and a wonderful person whom I wish I had met.

I am so sorry to hear about TIm's passing. We hope that you can find comfort in God during this difficult time.

To The Stack Family. Mary, I know your heart is aching. However, know that there are those of us who share in this tremendous loss. When Tim fisrt arrived at Piedmont, I thought, just another pencil pusher. But I met him and found a man who had genuine love for people. When his mother in law got gravely ill in the mid-west, he showed compassion. He came to us in ECU and asked if we could find a way to get her to Atlanta so that she could be cared for, 1st class. We did! He didn't interfere, nor throw his weight around. He let us do our jobs! Mary, God bless your heart, you stood by also. You both extended genuine love to me as I worked with your mother and invited me to be apart of your family. When I had gone into cardiac arrest in the hospital, someone told him and he personally came to see about ME & my family! He didn't delegate, he came himself! Not once, but many times throughout the long ordeal. I say all of this to say, he was God-sent and he was a rare gem! Go with God and he will keep you.
