Dear Julie, Casey, and Bryan(Bo Bo),
What a joy it was to have known and worked with Bo! I remember the first night I was in Atlanta alone, in the big city as a grown up working girl from Oliver, Bo took me out to dinner and to a Talmadge party. You all know how much both of my parents, Bernice and J.D. Clarke loved and respected Bo. Bo's eulogy at Dad's funeral was very special to us all. And we learned that they were right to support such a fine and dedicated man for the offices he held. I knew you girls when you were very young, and Bryan when Bo ran for Governor. So, Please know that our love and prayers are with you all as you live without both your wonderful parents. we would love to hear from you. Brenda & George Baker

Julie - I was saddened to learn of the death of your father. I remember meeting him several times when I worked for you at MCG. He was always so friendly - a "real" person! May God bless and comfort you and your family.

So sorry to hear of the loss of one of the finest men I had the privelege of knowing while growing up. Mr. Ginn (as I always addressed him at the gas station when he stopped in), always had a smile for me. I still have the calendar that he endorsed to me all those years ago. I always enjoyed our conversations and his way of explaining politics to me. Our state has truly lost a fine politician and more than that, a fine man. My deepest sympathy to Casey, Julie and Bryan at this time.

Dear Casey, Julie and Bryan,
I just wanted you all to know how sad I was to hear of your dad's death. You may remember me from when we were all little. My mom and dad, George and Lenora (Tillman)Grumbles, were good friends of your parents all those years ago, in fact, your parents were my godparents. Both of your parents were always very special to me, although I had not seen either one of them in years. I was there in 1972 when your dad was elected into office...what a party that was, especially for a 14 year old! I will always remember that time.
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Lisa Grumbles Ordway
