Having moved to Destin, FL in 2009, I just read of Ron's passing in the GREC Newsletter. I knew Ron from the mid 70's when we both worked the Corporate Relo business, he on the appraisal side and myself on the brokerage side. He was a very open and giving person and will be truly missed by those of us who had a professional relationship with him. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Ronald. I have been appraising since 1972 and met Ronald during the 80's when the relocation business was strong. I had a twin brother that did mostly relocation appraisals and talked with Ronald often. He also died of cancer in 2010. Ronald will be missed and I hope his family will be at peace.

I was Ron's dry cleaner for over 20 years and he was one of my favorite customers. We always enjoyed our friendly rivalry about our respective schools, him Ga Tech and me, Georgia. He always came to my store with a smile and seemed to never have a bad day. I know how much he loved Beth and all his children and grand children, because he spoke lovingly about them all. I will miss him. Bob Eckhart

I first met Ronnie at Georgia State over 40 years ago where we were both majoring in Real Estate. We continued our professional friendship at the Society of Real Estate Appraisers. He was a true professional. He will be missed by many that he touched along the way.
