Rest In Peace. Sandy, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Tom loved being a journalist and he could make you see how important the free press was to keeping our democracy strong. Talking politics with him was a pure pleasure. He was truly one of a kind.

I am so saddened by this news. I live in the UK and have only recently become friends with Sandy who shares my love of quilting. Regrettably I did not have the pleasure of meeting Tom but his lovely smile tells it all. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Much love.

Tom, even though I haven't seen you in many many years, I've thought of you often and remember the good old days in Yellow Springs. My kids remember you, too. I see by your obituary what you have been doing over the years, and you have really "kept the faith." I'm happy you found a quilter. No doubt you found out that one mere sewing machine is not enough. My condolences to Sandy and the Teepen children. It sounds like you have had many happy years since all those years ago and I'm sorry you didn't live to see the phase-out of 45.
