Dear Cindy,
I have such fond memories of your father. He was a regular visitor at my grandparents home (Ralph and Hulene Slay). I had the wonderful opportunity to visit with him through the years. It was always delightful to see him as his smile and caring nature was quite contagious. His presence at church was always a joy.
May God give you and your family peace and comfort at this time and always.

Dr. Galloway delivered me and my sister Caroline. Caroline was delivered on Dr. Galloway's sister's birthday and shares his wife's name. He also took out my father's tonsils (Bob Berry) when he was a general surgeon. My mother, Doris Berry, met William in 1942 and she and his sister graduated from Girls High and Agnes Scott College together. Our families go way back. He was a wonderful doctor and will be missed.

I got married in 1961 at age 17, ended up with an ectopic pregnancy, Dr Galloway did the surgery, I was so scared, but he comforted me,and told me I would be Ok, he delivered my first child, I Loved him dearly as so many other Ladies did. I now God is with him, what a wonderful Doctor and human being he was, My prayers and thoughts are with his family.
