Dr. Galloway delivered one of my 3 children and the other Bartholomew doctors delivered the other 2. I always loved Dr. Galloway the best of all of the doctors! I felt almost related to him because I was his sister's ( Mary Blount) first student at her nursery school in her home on Briarcliff Rd. when I was a child where I spent many days at the feet of Dr. Galloway's dear mother (who lived with the Blounts) watching her do her "tatting" with great facination! I have not seen Dr. Galloway in many years but he will always be in my fondest memories of my child bearing years! I am very sorry for your loss of your dear father but I am happy to know that Dr. Galloway is now with his Lord!

Dr. Galloway delivered my son in 1967 - he was such a caring, compassionate man. I was his last patient for a 9:00 appointment on his last day of practice. I took my son to that appointment so he could shake the hand of the man who brought him into this world. Dr. Galloway was so pleased to meet someone he had delivered years before.
Just remember what he leaves behind is not what is engraved on a stone monument - but what is woven into the lives of those he has left behind. So sorry for your loss.

Dr Galloway delivered me in January 1972 at Georgia Baptist. I never met him, but I always recall my mom telling me the story of the day I was born and "Dr. Galloway" who delivered me. My mom called to share the news with me the other day. My condolences are with your family. Please know although I never met him, I am thankful for the role he played in bringing me into this world.
