To Christopher's family, I was proud to stand the flag line for Christopher as he returned to Sacramento on 11/30/2012, I will be equally as honored to stand for him again tomorrow 12/4/2012. To his mom Susan, his family and friends, I pray that god give you all the strength to live with your tragic loss. To Christopher I thank you for your service to our nation, and I only wish I had the opportunity to meet you, from what your other friends as saying here, you were a remarkable young man. Rest In Peace Soldier, your watch is ended, but don't worry, we have the watch now.

Thought my interaction with Chris was limited to youth group in high school, I will always remember Chris as a gentle hearted and sweet person. He always struck me as warm and friendly, and you could see he cared deeply for his friends. I love to see that in people. He will be missed by many. Even in my limited interaction with him, he will leave his mark!

Dear Susan and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this season of loss. May you feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. We pray that God heals your aching hearts and that you experience His grace and peace.

I remember spending my first Italian Thanksgiving with Christopher and he was the first soldier we ever had over to our house for dinner. He made our house feel more like home. He was a sweet and kind man and I am proud to have called him a friend. My husband and I are saddened by his loss and I have nothing but prayers for his entire family.

Although I did not know your son it is obvious from his huge smile that he was a very caring and loving person.I would like to thank him and his family for your huge sacrifice and for all that he has done for our country.I pray that God heals your aching hearts and helps you to get through each day after your tremendous loss. May God bless you and watch over you.

Hi Susan, Elliott, and Leah. I bragged on Christopher to all my friends with sons serving in the military, and I know what a tough soldier he turned out to be. I am so proud of him! We need more like him, not less. Our hearts are broken with yours. See you Tuesday.

My dear friend Chris, I miss you already. I know the visits you made to me were more heart touching for me than you know and now will ever know. Your picture will remain on the wall in my office. I will add one of the young man and friend I have lost. You will live in my heart though my memories of our time together and through the connection I have with your mom. I know how proud you were to serve. You shared stories with me I will not forget. You loved your family, you told me so. We respected each other for all the good times and the difficult ones. Thank you for each visit you to me, the stories we shared and each lunch we had together, and the love you shared for your daughter. Chris, my heart aches. You gave to your country. Thank you for simply being you, my friend. Mr. Lockwood

Susan, Leah, and Elliot,
We are so sorry to hear of Christopher's passing. While I never knew him as an adult, I remember all three kids at Leah's birthday parties and at pick-up times at Karen's. Our hearts go out to you at this incredibly difficult time. We're hoping you can find solace in the wonderful memories you have of him.
Love to you, The Bacharachs
