Dad,
We all miss you so much. It's hard to believe it's been five months since you went to meet the Lord you loved so much.
It's sad to not see you there in your chair, watching all the "goings on" around you. You didn't always understand what was happening, but you always enjoyed the activity!
We know you are in a beautiful place now in Heaven, with your wonderful mind and strong body back in perfect order again, and seeing your family again.
Thank you for teaching us about God and to always live right, and for being a wonderful father and grandfather. We know that we'll see you again someday in Heaven. Until then, we know you're watching over all of us, keeping us safe.

Toodle-oo, Dad ~~ "See ya later, alligator!"
Love, Linda, Bob and Randy

Daddy, Mom was out to see the stone she designed, on Monday. She brought you a single red rose/forget-me-nots, and we gave you white roses from your whole family. We also gave you the forget-me-nots and the purple/white carnations, for the alzheimers, to be in our remembrances for all patients and families that have loved ones who suffer with it. We are going to walk, and donate, to the alzheimers association in your memory, also. Anyway, Mom made such a beautiful memorial stone for you and her, someday, and it gives her a peace knowing she will forever be your wife. Loving and loved, for eternity. Your 58th wedding anniversary is coming up soon, and we will celebrate, that you will eternally be married, just shortly separated for now. She just wants a simple day, and a visit with you and give you some more flowers. Then she just wants to be here at home with you in spirit. It has been so hard for all of us to be without you, everything is a reminder of you, you are everywhere in your home, in spirit and memory. It is a blessing and a sorrow. We get her out once in a while, because she is so lonesome for you. We are blessed with Dana here with her daily, and Lori and I and Debbie and Linda, coming and going, so much. And the dogs keep her company, though always under foot, she says. They miss your "sneaky snacks", when Mom wasn't looking. They miss you Daddy, like all of us here. It is just not the same anymore, but we think of you so much, you are so loved. And thank you, for the Lord in our lives. Miracles Happen To Those Who Believe. Thank you that in your last week of life, you reminded us with that message from God, for Mom. She continues to tell us all, that you were still trying to teach us, in the last days. You are a good Christian man and teacher. We are holding to The Word, and all you taught, from the KJV Bible. We will see you soon, in our Forever Home with Jesus. <3 Love ya eternally <3

Dear Grandpa,
It's been a month since you said goodbye, and it still doesn't seem real. I keep thinking that we'll see you whenever we go to visit Grandma. You are so very missed Grandpa. It's not the same here without you with us. It's not the same when we go to visit the home that you and Grandma made us all feel so welcomed in. Everything I see is a reminder of you and yours and Grandma's hard work. It is also a reminder of all the love that you both have shared over the years with one another, and everyone who had the pleasure and honor of being a part of your life.
Even though our hearts are broken, we are comforted by knowing where you are.We are comforted by knowing that all you have left behind, you can be proud of. You showed us all what a good and wonderful man you are, and what we should all aspire to be.You showed love and compassion, not just to those close to you, but to all of God's creatures. You showed us the way to Heaven and the way home to you.
Without you Grandpa, I don't know if I would know the Lord. You taught your children about God. My Momma taught me and I will continue to teach my children. For that I will be forever grateful. Thank you Grandpa, for being you.
I love you so much and I will see you again one day. I love you Grandpa. LORD BLESS US ALL! Love Always and Forever,
Melissa xoxoxoxo

Love from Leeann, Shane and Shannon too!

Grandpa, The many memories I have of you as I grew up I cherish. The love you share to all(people and animals). The memories of the stories you told me as I grew up about your family that had already passed on. I truly enjoyed hearing stories of yours of travel, and all about your mom and dad and Oklahoma. My children are so blessed to have been able to have met and known you and got to play with you. I wish they would have had more time with you but I know for sure that you are always by their side. You raised wonderful children and always took care of your family. You instilled so much faith in God in all of us and how important family is. Thank you for all the things you taught me. I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!!!!

Hey, Daddy <3 Happy Heavenly Birthday to you, today <3 We all love you so much, and we know, your in a better place now, and enjoying birthday parties, everyday with Jesus, and all of our loved ones who have finished their earthly journey, and are now safely Home. We would rather be spending your birthday with you. Though, until we all meet again, we will rejoice in your life here, until all of our birthdays are together in Heaven. Have a very special 87th birthday, they must be so wonderful there. I can only imagine how precious each of our birthdays are to Jesus, for this day was chosen special for you, and so many, to celebrate today! So we miss you here, but the Lord Blesses you there, and He will help us in our sorrows. Mom has prepared a beautiful day for you, and all of us can't wait to celebrate it with her, for you. See you oneday, miss you till then, and the Lord will Bless us as you taught. Until then, love you with all my heart, and we will hug Mama for you, even though I know you are hugging her daily in spirit. Enjoy your Heavenly Birthday, and we will enjoy it here. For Daddy, you deserve joy celebrated here on earth, as well as in your Heavenly Home. <3 Love and Peace to all of us, the true kind, that only the Holy Spirit Comforter, can give us in our needs, and can give to us from His heart. <3 Karen (Thank you Daddy, for being a very thoughtful man, and husband and dad, even when times were hard. Well done, is what Jesus said, when He took you by the hand.) <3

Marion, your family Loves you so and misses you deeply. Though they know it is only a matter of time before you are all together again in the glory of our Lord's kingdom, the days have a void that only you could fill. I did not know you well, other than being my brother's Father-in-law and Karen's Daddy, yet I do know they Loved you very much. You had a great life on this earth of ours and it continues in heaven with Angel Ava and Baby Bean, all awaiting those you Love to join you. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family that our Heavenly Father give them the strength and courage to move forward without you and to bask in the warmth of all the memories you have together...Praise to our Lord for his Love of us all...Beverly Lewis & Family (Karen's Sister-In-Law)
