Tom was my supervisor at Food and Ag in the early '70s. We used to talk about the unjust Japanese internment, his time as an interpreter during the war, the farm being saved by neighbors...He shared the posters/notices that were posted. Tom tried to teach me the Japanese art of origami and made a Santa for me for Christmas. Every year when I hang it on my Christmas tree, I think of Tom and what a wonderful person he is. Tom taught me more about life and forgiveness than any other person. I was blessed to have known him. He is in my thoughts and prayers.
