It's been four years after the tragic accident and I find myself here; scrolling through this guest book, through the Legacy of Audrey Gunther. Back then I would have wrote about the impact this one woman had on my life, and it would have been true. But through the years I have developed a full understanding and appreciation of the gifts that Mrs. Gunther gave us. The gift of music... of feeling... and of life. It is all this, and more, that she instilled in us; her students, her friends, and her family. It is all this that has steered me through life, towards success and happiness.

High school was honestly some of the best years of my life, thus far, and it was because of choir, because of Audrey Gunther. In high school music became my salvation. To this day it still is. It was in choir where a lot of us broke out of our shells. It was because of choir that some of us learned to laugh, to love, to cry, to feel. And through the majority of the time I was in choir Mrs. Gunther was there every step of the way, to teach us and to mold us.
I thank God for giving me the chance to know Audrey Gunther... a teacher and mother to me and all those she taught.

To the Gunther family:
May God bless you and bring you comfort. May the love you share with each other grow stronger each and every passing day.

Mrs. Gunther... because of you music will always live through me. Thank you for everything and please watch over all of us. Rest in peace.

May the God of all comfort, bring comfort to the family and friends of Gunther. We look forward to the time when sickness and death is a thing of the past.

Ms. Gunther was my homeroom teacher for 3 years. She was very dedicated at what she does. I will truly miss her.
