I am sorry I was not in town for the home going of my long, long time friend Pastor Simpkins. We started as friends at Greater Apostolic Holy Temple over twenty years ago. I remember when she said yes to the Lord and began a work for the Lord. When she would call me I would come preach for her. There was one Sunday morning I was on my way to GAHT and the Lord told me to go by her church and I obeyed the Lord. Pastor Simpkins was sick in her office, we prayed for her and she ask me to preach morning service before her daughter took her home. Mother Livingston was living at the time also. God is good. May God bless and strengthen the entire family. Amen

Dear Simpkins Family:
I am certain that you are proud and appreciative for the privilege of becoming the family of Pastor Andrea Simpkins. My prayers and thoughts are with you, and God has the Simpkins family constantly on his mind. We are eternally grateful for the life, leadership, legacy and love of Pastor Simpkins. She was a blessing to Pentecostal Temple at a very critical time. Her love for Bishop L.C. Dunning, Sr. and The Temple was enormous.

May her eternal and excellent spirit rest in the presence of Jesus. The last person she saw on this side was Jesus. The first person she saw on the other side was Jesus. She was never alone!
