Ariail Handberry

MARTIN, S.C. - Ariail E. Handberry, 69, of Martin, passed away at his home Thursday, January 1, 2015. Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2015 in the Dyches Funeral Home Chapel, Barnwell, with the Rev. Mark Watford officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial followed in the Pleasant Mountain Cemetery, Martin. Pallbearers were Jody Webb, Eddie Webb, Brett Bell, Adam Barr, Andy Harvey, Bubba Dunbar, Ricky Jackson and Rick Towne. Mr. Handberry was the son of the late William H. Handberry and Frances Towne Handberry. He loved woodworking, dove hunting and his tractors. He was a loving Father and Grandfather and will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Williamson Handberry, of the home; one daughter, Lisa (Adam) Barr of Springfield; three sons, Buck (Amanda) Handberry, Martin, James (Brandi) Handberry of Barnwell, and Joe (Michelle) Handberry of Barnwell; one brother, Sonny (Wanda) Handberry of Martin; grandchildren, Caleb, Sarah, Rebekah, Leah, Elizabeth, Tyler, Savannah, Kyndal, Heath, Slade, Kylan, Ashton and Caden. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Handberry Bell, and Mae Handberry Webb of Ridge Spring; and one aunt, Lucile Towne McDonald of Martin. Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
