Miss Betty, thank you for your friendship through the years. It is time to rest now, in God's loving arms. Sincere condolences to your daughters, Debbie and Beverly, and to distant relatives and Patty.

Debbie, Johnny and Beverly, I'm so very sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I thought the world of your mother and enjoyed the years I had her as my neighbor at Londonberry. She was so special and will be missed by all those who knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry, Beverly and Debbie, to learn of your mother's passing, especially so close to your birthdays. Ms. Betty was like a second mother to me in the wild and crazy 1980's. I will never forget the "talks" Beverly and I sat through, both at Ms. Betty's house and at our apartment(s) in Draesen Hills...mostly with mama, in her quiet but very serious way, doing the talking. I distinctly remember Ms. Betty bailing me out of the 4th Street / Walton Way Hotel one morning after I had done something stupid the night before...it was a long and unpleasant ride to my apartment! I once imagined how I could and would love having Ms. Betty as my mother-in-law...guess it just wasn't meant to be. Anyway, maybe one day, after we're all gone, we can reunite in Heaven and have one Helluva party. Ms. Betty, may you rest in peace forever and ever.
