this is so very difficult. There is not a time frame for feeling better. Just take one day at a time. Carl was a good friend in high school. He was truly a beautiful person - inside and out. I will pray for you and your family. I lost my dear husband 5 years ago and miss him every day.

I am dismayed and saddened with Carl's passing. Somehow, I never expected him to leave us. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. ...David Brewer SI 1960

Sad to hear of Carl's passing. I respected him as a classmate in high school. I was proud of him when he went to the critical. I new he would do well. I too served in Vietnam in the years 1964-65. I was proud to read of his military accomplishments, but that was expected from a man like him.did not know he was from up north. I too was from the north and came to bartow in my sophomore year. They called me a damn Yankee even after being in bar tow through my senior year. I really enjoyed school in bar tow especially being in the glee club. I am sure Carl is now with the lord. By the way when I came back from Vietnam god called me into his ministry for which I served him for over 30 years before having heart surgery two years ago. I was unable to attend our 50 year class reunion, so I missed seeing Carl and my classmates. Thanks to David brewer for keeping us all informed of the status of our classmates. I know I will see Carland other classmates who have trusted in Jesus in heaven some day. God bless you and your family and may the good lord comfort you in these time's, you are in my prayers.

Linda & Family: Just learned of Carl's passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Carl was more than a classmate and teammate, he was a good and decent person and someone I was PROUD to consider a friend. Don Alexander SI 60

Linda, I haven't seen Carl in 50 years and feel an incredible sense of loss. I admired and respected him as a classmate and was not surprised when I read of his successes in life, both personally and professionally. I extend my most sincere sympathies to you and your family.
