I'm lighting a candle for you, Charles Roy Berry, to celebrate your 79 years of joyful life. You will be in the hearts and minds of those who love you forever. Rest Well My Friend.
September 09, 2016
I only knew you, Roy Berry, as Shannon's uncle. Uncles have a special role in their nieces lives. Not being a father, they can be a friend and a supporter in a different way than anyone else. They are both a relative and a companion; one of the few people able to be both. Whether they are crazy and weird and only seen at holidays or our fishing buddy and mentor, the loss of an uncle is a particularly hard one. Shannon's loss, however, is filled with the years of happy memories you shared, and that special connection that belongs only between uncles and nieces. Rest well, Roy Berry, knowing that you are loved by all your family and friends.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. One day many will have the opportunity to live again. May the hope of everlasting life sustain and comfort you during this difficult time. (John 17:3)
