My Condolences to the entire extended Cain Family. I was a friend of Jana's, and Darius always welcomed me with open arms and an open heart when things were sometimes crazy at my own home. Darius always made me feel like family in her home and I will forever remember her fondly for that great kindness. She was a great lady, with a great sense of humor.

Dr Cain and Family,
I was so sad to hear about your Mother. I pray that you all are strengthened at this time by the memories you shared with her and the knowledge that this life is not all the time we have with the ones we love.

Ms. Cain was a gift to all those whose lives she touched, from those she taught(including me), to those she taught with (including Angela Higdon, my mother). She was so much more than a teacher, she was also a kind and generous friend. She taught me to play the piano, after school. She taught me the meaning of being a friend to others through the example she set. Thank you Ms. Cain for being a shining flame in a sometimes dark world. I will never forget what you taught me about how to treat others.

I am so shocked to hear this. She taught all of my children. They loved her and so did I. She was simply the best and touched so many lives is such a positive way. Her spirit will live on in all her students.

I am so sad to hear of Darius' death. She was one of the kindest people this world has ever produced. She was such a talented lady and was always willing to share her talents with others. She taught so many of us to play bridge and how to knit. She had the patience of a saint. I will forever be grateful that she was a part of my life and I will miss her kindness and grace.

I was fortunate to have taught with Darius for many years. Her depth as a person was enormous. She was a true lady and friend.
