WILSON, N.C. - Edward Ramanand Jagnandan, 60, of Wilson passed away Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted 8 p.m. Sunday at Joyner's Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Bell will officiate. Interment will follow at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Scottsburg, Indiana. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. Edward was a loving husband, father, and brother who will be missed and was loved by all who knew him. He was President/CEO of the Wilson Housing Authority and a longtime member of the Rotary Club, as well as many other civic organizations. Edward had a real passion for people who were less fortunate, and worked tirelessly for affordable housing. Edward is survived by his wife, Brenda J. Jagnandan of Wilson; daughter, Jennifer Geiger; sons, David Rife (Kate), Derek Rife (Wendy) all of Indiana, Ravinder Jagnandan of Tennessee; brothers, Neville Jagnandan of Georgia and Leonard Jagnandan of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Helen Jagnandan; sister, Nora Irwin and brother, Dr. Norris Jagnandan. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to the charity of one's choice. Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net
