Dr. Aziz was one of our mainstays when our daughter was born 14 weeks early. He was always encouraging and helped us stay calm and confident when life in the NICU was a roller coaster ride. What a wonderful, kind and gentle man and what a great contribution he made to so many people's lives! Our family, including our grown up little 26 weeker, will never forget you.

Rest in peace, Dr. Aziz. You inspired us and we will miss you.

Dr. Aziz was a wonderful example of what every physician should aspire to be. His exemplary character was evident in the kind manner in which he treated the patients, parents, and nurses alike. No matter his busy schedule, he always took the time to teach the nurses something new on morning rounds. He exuded such a confident command, that we could always feel assured his judgment of any situation presented was correct. We will miss him greatly.

We were very saddened to learn of Dr. Aziz passing. He is the reason we brought our premature daughter Rachel home from the hospital. He was more than a doctor, he was our angel on earth. I called Rachel in NY to let her know of and she said without hesitation, mom he is the reason I am alive today. Since 8/5/1980, the day she was born, we have talked about Dr. Aziz over the years in admiration and fondness. He had that very determined look and also a serene kindness. I remember him saying, "Do not worry until I give you something to worry about". He kept his promise. God Bless Dr. Aziz and his family. Sincerely, Alan & Sheila Stahl and Rachel Stahl Schneider.

Our family was very sad to learn of the passing of Dr. Aziz. In 1980 my daughter was born premature and Dr. Aziz was the reason we brought her home from the hospital. He has always been close to our hearts and when I called my daughter in NY to tell her of his passing she too was saddened and said mom he is the reason I am alive today! He was more than a doctor, he was our angel on earth. Sincerely, Alan & Sheila Stahl, and Rachel Stahl Schneider.

Dr Aziz was a close friend. I have known him for more than 40 years. He is a great human being. He was a dedicated family man, an honest trustworthy noble and gentle individual.
Professionally he was a great doctor who initiated and established the discipline of Neonatology in Augusta. He took great care of the sick newborns in our city first at MCG and later in University Hospital, till his retirement.
I will greatly miss him.
I,my wife Skina and our sons Mohammad and Ayman offer our sincere condolences to his family.
