Ms. Janice L. Key entered into rest Thursday, January 25, 2018, in AU Medical Center. She is the daughter of the Late Marie and Tillman Key. Janice was a 1972 Graduate of T.W. Josey High School, she continued her education at Augusta Technical College and began her career as an LPN. She worked for University Hospital, later she accepted the opportunity to serve as LPN at East Central Regional. Janice continued her education at Augusta College to advance as a Registered Nurse.
Janice loved the Lord, also she enjoyed sports and traveling.
Holding on to fond memories of their times together are her sister, Linda Key; nephew, Travis Roberts; great-nephew, Jayden C. Roberts; aunts, Dorethea Cook, Addie M. Stewart; uncles, Willie J. West, John P. (Margie) West, Rev. Charles E. Sanders, she will be missed by many cousins, co-workers and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Beulah Grove Baptist Church, 1434 Poplar Street, with Dr. Sam Davis, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, Inc. 3618 Peach Orchard Road. (706) 790-8858

Janice, will always remember you as a neighborly childhood friend in Sunset Homes. My heart grieved when hearing of your passing. You were such a beautiful soul with loving attributes and character. RIP. We travelled from Ursula Collins to T W Josey. What a journey. I still remember your laughter and your voice. Love you, Janice.
