I am so sorry to hear about your dad, Wes. I know that losing a parent at Chrismas is especially difficult. My mother died around Christmas 23 years ago. Just know that because Christ came to Earth, your Dad is alive with the Lord now. Allow that awareness to give you extra incentive for giving praise this Christmas for the birth of our Savior. Know that the Lord is holding you both, and He feels your pain and sorrow. My prayers are with you.
