To Laverne's family, our condolences with your loss at this time. Pray God will comfort and give you peace. Laverne was such a sweet lady, always with a smile.I had the pleasure of working with her at WBPI TV49. She will be missed.

Our families have been close for many years-Juanita and my mom(Hattie Beard), Valerie Broadwater-Jenkins and myself where she and I help Lavern raise Sherika :)
therefore Laverne was a sister to me. I am so sorry that I can not be there with you in this time of need but my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family continously. Sherika and Terence, may God continue to strengthen you where you are weak, build you up where you are torn down on a daily basis.
