To Team MaryEmma: We pray for the repose of our beloved Mrs. Graham in JESUS' NAME, and extend heartfelt sympathy to you and her community-at-large. I saw her last a few years ago at a function at the airport in Augusta. She was her kind, lovely,well-spoken and vibrant self. Mrs. Graham was a consummate educator and treasured by many. Our new normal is not having her here physically; nevertheless, her powerful legacy and beautiful spirit remain. ---Myriam Burns Van Buren (Ronald)

my sincere condolences .
I am very saddened to hear of her recent passing.
She was a very thoughtful and
kind lady. I remember very well

To Maryemma and family:
I and my whole Claiborne/Livingston families are so sorry for your loss. Ms. Helen was such a special woman and a wonderful spirit. I was so glad that I had the chance to listen to some of her colorful stories and be in her presence. She was such a necessary and strong advocate for Paine College. I sincerely hope that she is remembered there forever as well. Much love to you all.

To Maryemma, family, and loved ones of Mrs. Moore, I extend heartfelt sympathy to you in your loss. I had the honor of having Mrs. Moore as a part of the community church choir that I directed for the sesquicentennial celebration of Lawrence, Kansas in 2004. We, all, fondly, remember Mrs. Moore's melodious voice. None of us felt like strangers to her because of her congenial spirit and social presence; hers was, truly, the Southern way of "meeting no strangers." We, in Lawrence, Kansas cherish her memory and share your sense of loss. In sympathy,
Dorthy L. Pennington

To Maryemma, Malika, Robe and Rance and to Mrs. Moore's extended family and all who cherished her. She was truly elegant -- in manner and in spirit. You noticed when she entered a room. I met her only a few times but do know from those meetings how much she cherished her daughter and grandchildren -- and their boundless love for her. I know she is at rest but also know she leaves an enormous space in a caring circle of family and friends. I was glad to read of the legacy memorial established in her name at Paine College. Ensuring educational opportunity for others is a truly wonderful example of her spirit. She endured the loss of family and dear friends and yet, I think, must have celebrated joy at each opportunity. Her daughter has a well of residence that I feel must be part of her mother's legacy. Helen G. Moore was a gift to her family, those who knew her and to those she once taught. Her love and energy lives on especially through her family -- and, I believe, is reverberating in the heavens. I wish you, love and Godspeed on this journey, Helen G. Moore!
