I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for your family.
January 24, 2016
More from Mary Olson Jensen...Jean totally loved her family, Marshall, Matthew, Thomas and Ashley. As I reflect on almost 50 years, all I can say is that we laughed until we cried, and, often, we cried until we laughed. No words, even from a retired English teacher, can describe the loss I feel, or even begin to describe the loss that you feel. With my thoughts, prayers, and all of you in my heart. Mary

Jean was a wonderful friend, beautiful singer and handbell player and member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church for many, many years. I will miss her friendship, her smile, her love of animals, and her unconditional love which she gave to everybody she met. My heart and prayers are with you Marshall, Thomas and Matthew at this difficult time.

Jean was my best friend, my unconditional friend, for almost 50 years. We met in the fall of 1966 at Mankato State College (now University Minnesota Mankato) on floor B-4 Crawford Center dorm. It was not too long before we became the best of friends.
We went through college, the deaths of our parents, her brother Jim and my sister Karen. Jean was my maid of honor in our wedding.
Jean and I would talk on the phone for maybe 15-30 seconds, and then we would be laughing. I have never known anyone in my life, other than my mother, with whom I could laugh, almost uncontrollably.
I can only thank God for our friendship. There are no words that can describe this loss.
I offer my sincere sympathy to Marshall, Matthew, Thomas and Ashley.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. There are no other words to express the loss I feel. With love...Mary J.
