Thinking of you as Christmas rapidly approaches. I imagine on December 25th the birth of our savior Jesus Christ is celebrated in Heaven and what a celebration it must be! I hope one day I will be worthy to attend. Till then, rest in peace my friend, you're never forgotten.

I just got to Wainwright and had SM Wilson leading the battalion. He was old school and was tough as nails. He was born to lead a battalion and showed it every day. RIP.

CSM Wilson was my Drill Instructor at Ft Benning, D42, 1985. He was an amazing soldier and person who commanded our respect from day 1. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing. He was one of those people in my life I never forgot and who I always respected and admired, even all these years later. RIP

It is during Holidays like today that I slow down enough to pause and think about GREAT AMERICANS like you CSM Wilson. I remember you as one of my most influential Drill Sergeants. Years later seeing you and serving with the Manchus together was an honor. Rangers Lead The Way! Never forgotten Brother! Much Respect. May your family always know you are forever in our hearts and minds. God Bless!

As another Thanksgiving season approaches I continue to remember your service and sacrifice. We here at Fort Campbell just had our run for the fallen event. A single boot for every service member loss since the wars on terror started was placed in front of the Headquarters Building. It was a very moving tribute to each service member. A boot was displayed with your name on. Seeing your boot along with the thousands of other boots was a moving and emotional event. You touched so many lives. Your counseling, leadership and mentorship allowed soldiers to move up in the ranks and become great leaders. It wouldn't surprise me you're probably still taking care of those soldiers who have returned to their final home in Heaven! I will never forget you CSM. Rest in peace my friend. I look forward to the day when we meet again.
