HEPHZIBAH, Ga. -Mrs. Laura Stanley Stokes entered into rest Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted (today) Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from Gilbert-Lambuth Memorial Chapel, Paine College. Interment will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. The remains will lie in state at the chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. The funeral procession will leave from Breeze Hill Drive. W. H. Mays Mortuary, 1221 James Brown Boulevard, Augusta, GA 30901 (706) 722-6401.

I'm deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Mrs. Stokes. She and Rev. Stokes were always right by our side when we lost a loved one, but I am so hurt to find out about her passing tonight. Mrs. Stokes will be truly missed. You all have my deepest condolences.
