Sherman helped me so much getting my LE career started, setting up my retirement strategy, sending me copies of the Economist, and your continuous stock tip emails hahaha. I will miss our email exchanges. Thank you for all that you did for me and I am honored to have known another fine Johnstown native.

So sorry to her this sad news.

This is the only picture I could find of Marlin, from 1938 (he was 5, I think).
He's the boy wearing suspenders in the front row, with Olga's right hand on his shoulder.

From left to right:
Front row: Fred Freud (Theresa's brother) holding Bobby on his lap, Marlin, Ernest, Audrey (with a ball), and Ron
Middle row: Neni, Olga, Pauline, Yolan
Back row: Ray, Joe, Theresa, Isidor Somogyi, Basci (Neni's husband), Ralph Fisher (Yolan's husband) and Henry Hagadus

Betty, I just heard and am so sad. Marlin was such an important person in my life. He gave me my first job and served as a mentor for the next 9 years. In recent years, I enjoyed his emails and on occasion, hearing about your children and grands. He was so proud of everyone. I can't believe it, but please accept my sincere condolences.

It still doesn't seem real, but knowing you're watching over everyone, brings comfort. Gone but NEVER forgotten. I love you
