To Mr. & Mrs. Dillon & Family
This is Dave & Lynda Sheley in Port Orchard, WA.
We wanted you to know ( and Mike) that we still have the Toyota 4 Runner that was Matt's.
It has a special place in our hearts.
Every time we look at it or get in it we think of Matt.
I have told Lynda I never want to get rid of it.
Yes, too many it is just a vehicle; however to us it is very special!
Although we never got to meet Matt, we feel he is with us all the time.
It will forever be his truck.
We love you!
Blessings to you & Family!
We cannot make it in life without our faith in Christ Jesus.
We hope & pray it is the same for you.

I just wanted to say that one of my 6th grade students selected Matthew V. Dillon, USMC, for his Veteran's Project. He will now be remembered on our wall this Veteran's Day at Saddleback Valley Christian School in San Juan Capistrano, California.
Everyone in the hall will get to read about him, and his extraordinary service to our country.
Thank you,
Barbara Shaw

To the Loved ones of Matthew,
I never had the honor of Meeting Matthew. I am the daughter of a Marine, and the Aunt of three Marines. Know that as I pray for my nephew's who are serving, I will be praying for you who have loved and lost. May Matthew rest in the arms of our Lord.

Matt, as it has come up on three years I know that you are watching over your family still. Be with your brother while he is in war. Be with your parents as they try not to worry and that your brother will return home safely. Give comfort and peace to all your family.

On this day and with each day that we enjoy our freedom, I would like to give thanks and let you know that I do not take our troops for granted. May you experience God when you feel your loss.
