Dear Christina, just by accident I came over this Guestbook. I googled Nancys name because I was thinking back on my time as a young woman and my time in Geneva. I was an aupair in your family in 1974. You Christina was only 5-6 months or so when
I came to your family. I am so sorry to hear that Nancy passed away 5 years ago. Yours sincerly Birgitta

I will keep this book open for as many years as I can. It will be like the rose left by Christina's gravestone. She was a lovely and loving woman and mother.

I knew Nancy when she lived in Geneva and she was so full of life and enjoyed everything she did do much. I am so sad to just now learn of her passing but sounds like she left so many loving friends and family. Especially you Christina, you two obviously loved each other so much.

Peace for you, Mom. Thank you for each loving whisper and breath you gave me and for your eternal love. See you one day.

Your Loving Daughter,

Christina, You will continue to celebrate your mother's life in the beauty of her paintings, the delicateness of her teacups, and the charm of her favorite flowers. You are blessed to have loved your mother through her illness and into paradise.

Mommy, My heart is broken. With you a large part of me has gone too. I know you are with me, as I am with you. You were and will continue to be my whole world. I'll never love anyone more than you.

Christina, while I never met your mother, she must have been a beautiful person because I know you, one of the most awesome people I know! Jim and I both continue to pray for you and your family; you are so precious to both of us!!

Nancy was my neighbor for 7 years in the Boulders. When I got to know her I told her that I was a very handy man and that if she needed me to change a light bulb or get something out of the attic, that I would be happy to help. She never wanted to be a bother, so she never asked anything of me. She was always pleasant and she seemed to enjoy her walks, her dog, her friends, family and her neighbors very much. She was very kind and considerate to me. She never said "woe is me" or complained about anything; even when she was apparently struggling with medical issues. She was a great neighbor. I am sorry she is gone from us; but, I know where her soul is because of my faith in the God. She lived a good life. God Speed Nancy.

Andrew, Christina, and James, Dorothy, Atticus, and Trunan, You're in our thoughts. We can't fathom how your hearts must be breaking. To lose a mother, nana, and friend. It was obvious how much she adored her children and grandsons. We enjoyed getting to know Nancy and her kids, when she visited Andrew, Dorothy, and the boys in Vancouver, WA. We're just glad that you are all together to comfort each other.

All our love,
Brian, Tippy, Sam Barnhart, MK, Georgette, and Maggie Rutherford, Marian and Monty Anderson
