Uncle Oscar will be sorely missed, but our memories of him will keep him close in our thoughts and prayers. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and uncle, and our family reunions just won't be the same without him. It is comforting to know he is with Our Lord and Savior, for he lived and shared his love for Our Lord in his words and the way he lived his life. We have all been truly blessed to have had Uncle Oscar a part of our lives.

My deepest sympathy to the Barrow Family!
Pastor Oscar was a great man of God. He was a great councelor and listener. He gave great advise. I called him my big Teddy Bear. He always made time to talk. Rest in peace.

Uncle Junie was a wonderful man. I will miss his laugh and his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. When I got married he said a wonderful prayer over us, our marriage and blessing of the food before we ate at our reception. I'm so happy to have that on video. Thinking of you all.

Dear Barrow Family,
Our deepest sympathy for your loss but we must be comforted that Oscar is with our Lord now, so we must smile and know we will see him again one day! Your dad loved the good ole gospel songs! One of his favorites was He Looked Beyond My Faults and Saw My Needs. One Sunday Sammy Mobley sang it for when he pastored Holmes Avenue Baptist Church. I will always remember the look on hims face as he so enjoyed that song. One could tell he was truly being ministered to as he listed! It brings a smile to my face now. Let the words bring comfort to you now..."Amazing grace shall always be my song of praise, For it was grace that bought my liberty, I do not know just why He came to love me so, He looked beyond my fault and saw my need. I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary To view the cross where Jesus died for me; How marvelous the grace that caught my falling soul! He looked beyond my fault and saw my need."
Praise God this is truly Oscar's song of praise and ours! Thanks you Jesus!

Our hearts are with you during this sad time. I have many happy childhood memories of Oscar when he and Nan came for visits....first just the two of them (they were always so in love) and then as time went on, joined by Karen, Kathy and Hugh. Oscar added a lot of energy and fun to family times and we have always loved and appreciated him. He helped expand our horizons ...he and Nan welcomed visits to their home...both from family members and with friends and provided a special trip to Blue Mountain College to help me adjust to such a new experience. Very special! Love to Nan and all the family from Bob, Vicky, Brendan, Darci, Donovan, Kira, Kevin, Neko and Solly
