Graveside services for Mr. Leon Lendon Black, 93, who entered into rest February 18, 2018 will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock in Westover Memorial Park. Bishop Michael Marshman officiating.
Mr. Black was a native of Jefferson County, having made Augusta his home for the past 71 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Black was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Todd Black.
Survivors include two brothers, Billy R. Black and James M. Black, both of Augusta, GA; two sisters, Betty Kent, Orem, UT and Frances McKnight, Murfreesboro, TN.
