WINDSOR, S.C. - Mrs. Yvonne Brantley Harris, 59, wife of the late Michael Laverne Harris, Sr., entered into rest on Thursday, March 24th, 2016, in the comfort of her home. Born in Augusta, GA and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Bert Brantley. She was a former Caregiver. Yvonne was a dedicated member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle where she volunteered countless hours of her time and also volunteered at Christ Central. She enjoyed reading her bible and crocheting. In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Leslie Newman and her husband, Tony, Windsor, SC, Stacey Ready and her husband, Virgil, Langley, SC and Michael L. Harris, Jr. and his wife, Nicole, Windsor, SC; stepson, Christopher Holsonback and his wife, Anita, Langley, SC; siblings, Robert Cato and his wife, Joyce, Edgefield, SC, Nancy Taylor and her husband, Mark, Augusta, GA and Wayne Brantley and his wife, Winnie, North Augusta, SC; grandchildren, Samantha Newman, Anthony Newman II, Sheila Newman, Devin Good, Kaitlyn Dooley, Madison Krueger, Patience Ready, Carolyn Harris, Michael Harris, Deanna Harris, Hannah Holsonback, Molly Holsonback, Scarlette Holsonback and Kirby Holsonback and great-grands, Zoey Rayne Weimorts and David Michael Diehl. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 1st, 2016, at 6:30 PM at Central Baptist Church, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Buddy Brinkley officiating.
