I just found out that Roy passed. I am sorry for your lost. I live across the street from him on Jennings Rd.

Well growing up in my early teens, Roy was one of my father figures. I admired his hard work and dedication to his family. I always, somewhat no so secretly, wanted him to be my dad. He was so loving and generous, just like a dad should be. I never knew what that felt like till him. He always treated me like I was his own whenever I was around and Lord knows I should have just had my own room for all those years. I am so sorry to have missed his passing and service and it makes me so sad. I had been wanting to visit him since I got the news and just never took the time to do it. I didn't make the service as being out of the country prevented it. Roy, I know you are way up high in the heavens. Please shine your light on me every chance you get. I love you and will always have you in my heart.
Love and peace,
Tabitha Brock Bailey

He had a big heart and a great sense of humor. When Carolyn, Mary, and I were little, it was Uncle James that would send us squealing with laughter after he'd played a cute prank on us or told us a silly joke. I'll forever remember his hearty laugh and gentle nature.

Will never forget that he walked me down the isle and gave me away. Will miss him. Love you uncle James

Will miss his smile and that wonderful sense of humor . He didn't let anything remove that smile from his face , quite an inspiration!
