Prayers and Condolences to the family! Friend of Fernando Bennett
October 17, 2015
Starting in August, 1988, I had the distinct pleasure of working for Mr. Bennett at Morgan Road Middle School. He was a fine assistant principal. One of my duties in the mornings was to stand in the hallway making certain that students would go directly to their homerooms. I noticed that several would prefer, almost demand, that they had to see Mr. Bennett. Upon checking, I found that, in most cases, they seemed to want to check in with him daily as a "sort of" father figure. It was then that I realized that he truly was a most respected "father" to many of these young men. I want his children to know and understand that they truly had a most wonderful, respected father, as so many of the young men in the school looked up to him. Also, when he wrote an evaluation on me as a teacher, I would often read it many times. You see, he would use the most eloquent language that one could not help but be complemented by his choice of wording. He was most respectful of our station in the school as teachers and sought to help us perform our duties. I will miss him dearly. He was truly respected by everyone.

It saddened our hearts to hear the loss of Thomas. May these few words bring you comfort at this difficult time. You will Call, I myself will answer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning. Jobs 14:13-15

A heartfelt condolence to the entire family of TJBennett. I had the awesome pleasure of being a student of Mr. Bennett's while attending SBF in the 8th grade (Science); where he later became Asst. Principal. He was a great teacher. My prayer is that he is resting peacefully.

Thomas Bennett was one of the finest and most upright men I have ever known. A true gentleman in every sense of he word. I had the pleasure of working with him at Morgan Road Middle School where he was Assistant Principal. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at their great loss. And All God's Blessings in Heaven to Thomas Bennett.

Maximillian, You'll never regret your services to your Dad. You enabled him to live longer than he could on his own. You were not only a blessing to him but to me as well. Keep up your generosity and kindness, even as your Dad has passed. The Lord will reward you greatly. May the Lord be your comfort at this difficult time and always. Prayers, Leah Motes (dietitian)
