I grew up in Marion Homes, Augusta, with Way and Sandy. The Kidd family lived right down the street from us in the day where neighbors were truly neighbors. Sincere sympathies to the family. Peggy (Hudson) Dudley

What can I say about Way Kidd? A great human being that would do anything for anybody and always had that great sense of humor and positive attitude.
Much loved by so many. Rest in peace my friend.

Way was my Sunday School teacher when I first moved to August, Georgia. He welcomed me into his class, and he made me get involved with others in the class. He was a wonderful teacher and friend. My prayers are with you and your family in his loss. His wonderful laugh will always resound.

Way was a great man who loved people and who possessed the ability to help them when in need. He was a great sax player and worked with me in the Red Hots from 1959-61. He will be missed. Bobby Byrd

Way and I shared many happy days at Tubman Jr High and at Richmond Academy, both as band members, he played a great sax, and as good friends. Although we never got together after high school graduation we did exchange email a few time after I found him in 2008. My condolences to Mary Beth and all the famiy.
